Building Your Org Brain.

The Cognitive Design Accelerator

What you build, how you build it, and where it takes you.

Building Your Org Brain
The Hook

Every term left undefined is a term the machine defines for you.

When you give AI your knowledge in PDFs, slide decks, and Slack threads, the model extracts the patterns it can find — and fills the gaps with the most common version of your industry. Your competitive positioning becomes generic. Your brand voice becomes house style. Your strategy becomes whatever the training corpus says strategy looks like.

That’s not an AI problem. It’s a definition problem. The organizations that codify their knowledge on their own terms get an AI that thinks like them. The organizations that don’t get an AI that thinks like everyone else.

The Core Distinction

Permanence vs. Persistence.

Permanence

AI memory systems extract patterns from your conversations and harden them over time — anchored by the most well-worn logic in the organization. Pivot your strategy on Monday, and correcting the AI means fighting the accumulated pattern one conversation at a time.

Persistence

Version control, governance, and a human who says “this is no longer true” — the architecture was built for update, not accumulation. The system respects the correction immediately.

The Org Brain is persistent by design. AI memory is permanent by default. The difference is whether you govern the system or the system governs you.
Why Start Here

Codify your knowledge on your terms.

No matter what comes down the pike — new models, new platforms, new agents — every company needs to codify its knowledge on its own terms. Building Your Org Brain is how you do it. Eight weeks. One credential. A working intelligence system that travels with you.

The Evolution

Three eras of business design.

Process-centric Industry 3.0

Lean

Optimized the machine. Eliminated waste, standardized processes, maximized throughput.

Human-centric Industry 4.0

Design Thinking

Centered the human. Empathy-driven, iterative, prototype-fast.

Value-centric Industry 5.0

Cognitive Design

Aligns process and human intelligence with organizational values — then makes them executable by AI.

If Lean taught us to optimize the machine and Design Thinking taught us to center the human, Cognitive Design synthesizes the two — establishing a new Cross Intelligence where machine processing and human know-how work in harmony.
What Cognitive Design Produces

The Domain Language Model.

Four factors, multiplicative. Remove any one and the product is zero.

Stateless AILLMThe reasoning engine. Powerful, interchangeable, not yours.
×
Open ProtocolMCPThe connection standard. How AI reads your systems.
×
Semantic AddressingUCAPermanent coordinates for every piece of knowledge.
×
Sovereign RepositoryOrg BrainConstitutional memory across 11 domains. Your compounding asset.
=
Your Chief of StaffDLMDomain intelligence loaded on every conversation.
MCP and UCA are free standards. The Org Brain is yours — sovereign, portable, AI-agnostic. If Anthropic changes terms tomorrow, you take your knowledge to GPT or Gemini the same day. That’s information sovereignty.
The Architecture

Three systems. One organizational brain.

Cognitive Design models the organization as two hemispheres — powered by the dual directives of process perfection and value alignment — connected by a cognitive system that makes them speak the same language.

Innovation System

Who you are and where you’re going

The value architecture that defines your organization’s strategic identity.

Optimization System

How you operate

The operational backbone that makes execution predictable, efficient, and AI-native.

Cognitive System

The operating system that connects everything

Semantic addressing, governance, context assembly — the architecture you own.

15

memories activate Smart OS — Intelligence capability. The First Fifteen.

26

memories complete Smart Org — Strategic balance. Both hemispheres active.

What You Build

A complete organizational memory system.

Four memory tiers. Every piece of knowledge gets a permanent address and a governance protocol.

SMN

System

00–19

The operating system — platform rules, protocols and configurations.

PMN

Canon

20–49

Your business fundamentals — brand, strategy, values, standards.

AMN

Projects

The Program

Three accelerators. Three certifications.

Starling OS ships with every accelerator — eight System Memory Nodes that define cognitive architecture, memory directives, governance protocols, and semantic addressing. Load it into a Claude Project and the AI knows how to help you build correctly.

Each accelerator builds on the one before it. You can work ahead on your own time between cohorts — the curriculum is shipped, the live sessions are the accelerant.

Track 1 produces the System Librarian. Track 2 produces the Cognitive Designer. Track 3 produces the Chief Intelligence Officer. Each is a demonstrated capability gate — not attendance, not seat time. You build, you explain, you defend the work.
